Within our Geopark logo you may sense many elements. You may see the valleys, bays and harbours, the slopes of a volcano. You may see the pathway magma took as it rose from below in the eruptions of the peninsula. You may see pathways connecting you to sites within the Geopark. Or you may see the pattern that forms along the underbelly of Tutumairekurai / Hectors Dolphin.

As we designed the logo we looked to nature for our inspiration. A Tutumairekurai / Hectors Dolphins underbelly provided a natural form, that linked together an iconic endemic species of the peninsula to the landscape exposed above the waves. Elements were then overlaid onto this unique platform to bring together our logo.
